David Brown – Bio
David, with over 30 years of advertising agency experience, has worked with a wide range of major corporations, including those in packaged goods, telecom, banking, corporate and media sectors. As an agency Media Director, he became known for his ability to create innovative and results-driven campaigns for his clients.
Throughout his agency career, David regularly presented his media plan proposals to the highest client levels, including CEOs, Presidents, and Marketing Directors of Fortune 500 companies. His efforts were recognized through prestigious awards such as the Campbell Soup Company’s First Annual Creativity in Media Award, the Silver Online Media Marketing Award, and the Yahoo! Purple Chair Award for his work with the U.S. Treasury.
In 2015, David founded Optics Social Media with the goal of helping small local businesses increase their awareness through social media. After several years of creating and curating social media content for local businesses such as chiropractors, attorneys, restaurants, auto collision shops, and a media publisher, he decided to expand the business. In 2020, he underwent digital marketing training, received his certification, and became a channel partner with one of Canada’s largest SaaS companies.
Today, David is passionate about helping small business owners uncover the gaps in their digital marketing strategies. By identifying what’s working and what’s not working for their business online, he guides them towards solutions that can take their business to the next level. The journey begins with the activation of an award-winning digital audit, which provides the necessary data to inform business owners where they need to focus their attention.
